Product growth & retention

Growth and retention playbooks are critical for long-term product success. I focus on strategies that are rooted in human behavior, satisfy a core user need, and build a healthy habit.

Growth strategies for product experiences

01. Original or exclusive content

As an Expert-in-Residence for InVision, I developed content resulting in 10-50% improved insights and knowledge gained and
87% likely to recommend.

02. Localized POV

As a design leader at GE, we leveraged global messaging with a local geographic POV to grow commercial opportunities. Resulting in improved market positioning across 7 priority global markets.

03. Take advantage of the advantage

By focusing on the advantages in market differentiation, I help a client generate brand awareness and user preference. This resulted in company growth, increased sales and ROI, and supported establishment of storefront/showroom location.

04. Profit from the core

By focusing on the core value proposition and targeting the end-to-end experience of an untapped market, GE was able to launch and scale a $5B start-up.

Retention strategies for product experiences

01. Personalization

Conceived, designed, and executed a multimedia campaign for Bloomberg tailored to personal health and wellness goals.

02. High-value experiences

By focusing on a handful of high-value product experiences that are so far beyond user expectations, it changes how people feel about the brand.

03. Make it easy to do the main thing

Partnered with non-profit organization CEO, CFO, senior management, and board of directors to develop a complete platform redevelopment. Resulted in increased financial contributions.

04. Community building

Having a tribe and fostering a sense of belonging helped scale the global design by 40X.
