Leading and scaling an enterprise-grade Design function responsible for delivering the end-to-end user experience, adding rigor and focus around design decisions with measurable value, and elevating how customers think about Northwestern Mutual.

Defining, prioritizing, and executing against a product roadmap (157 products, services & solutions) in alignment with top-level business strategy, c-suite leaders, and 11 Design practice functions to deliver a “best-in-industry” customer experience.

 

 


Strategic Planning for the Product Roadmap 

 

Leading the development and evolution of a multi-year product strategy for user needs, across key journeys, and building execution strategies for the CX vision. 

 


Cross-Functional Leadership & Relationship Building

 

Working cross-functionally to build strong relationships with senior leaders to shape our overall strategy, advocate for Design, establish proof points for enterprise-level digital transformation, and lead in the customer experience landscape.

 


Culture Development

 

Scaling and developing a high-performing Business Unit. Defining clear goals and objectives that balance short-term leadership development with long-term career growth.

 


User Impact at Scale

 

Leveraging best practices, business acumen, and user experience insights to accelerate the strategic priorities of the enterprise.
